Tony Elumelu Foundation Opens 2026 Programme for African Entrepreneurs. Applications are now open for the 2026 Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme, inviting ambitious African founders across all 54 African countries to apply. Successful applicants will receive US$5,000 in non-refundable seed capital, alongside structured business training, dedicated mentorship, and access to Africa’s largest entrepreneurship ecosystem. Since its launch in 2015, the Tony Elumelu Foundation has funded more than 24,000 entrepreneurs across the continent. Over the same period, the Foundation has trained 2.5 million Africans, supported the creation of more than 1.5 million jobs, and enabled over US$4.2 billion in revenue.

According to the Foundation, the programme is built on the belief that entrepreneurship is a critical driver of economic transformation in Africa.
