Entries Now Open For BCX Digital Innovation Awards

BCX is calling on small, medium and corporate enterprises to submit their entries. The award is looking for digital innovations across all industry sectors — businesses that used technology to improve an existing process or product or have developed an entirely new process or product.

The Awards

At the heart of BCX lives the spirit of innovation. It was in this spirit that we launched the BCX Digital Innovation Awards in 2019 to recognise and reward digital Innovation excellence in South African Corporates and SME’s. 2020 marks the second Annual BCX Digital Innovation Awards and we look forward to welcoming and recognising endeavours in digital innovation excellence which have embraced the power of technology.

What type of innovation are we looking for?

We are looking for Digital Innovation in any industry sector who have used technology to improve an existing process or product or to develop an entirely new process or product.

We are looking for innovations that have achieved remarkable results, meeting planned company KPI and if possible, making a difference within South Africa.

Entries will be open until September 30 2020.  

Organisations can enter one of two categories:

• Small and Medium Enterprises Digital Innovation Award — this category is for SA SMEs who have been in operation for more than a year, who employ more than five people and earn less than R50m in revenue. Part of the prize for the winner of this category is a potential partnership agreement with BCX.

• Corporate Enterprise Digital Innovation Award — this category is for large SA enterprises with an existing employee base of 200 or more. Part of the prize for the winner of this category is the BCX innovation programme.
