Drip Footwear Founder Lekau Sehoana Shares Inspiring Of Moving His Mother From A Shack To A Double Storey Home

Drip Footwear Founder Lekau Sehoana Shares Inspiring Of Moving His Mother From A Shack To A Double Storey Home! The 32-year-old entrepreneur and founder of Drip Footwear kicked off the year with an inspiring story about his family’s humble beginnings. This comes as recognition for all her efforts in ensuring he and his siblings had a decent life despite life’s difficulties.

Sehoana was more than happy to share the news on his socials, with a warm-hearted message and a picture of his mother. He posted the achievement on his Twitter, highlighting why it was so important for him to have built the house.

Sehoana originates from Limpopo although he spent most of his childhood in Ivory Park. This came after a short-lived stay in Alexandra Park but circumstances forced them to later move and settle in Ivory Park. His parents divorced when he was of a very tender age of two and he was raised by his single mother. His comeup journey is a fan favourite, a true inspirational story because everything that he is today, started with an idea in the comfort of his mother’s shack.

The establishment of Drip Footwear has played a huge role in empowering communities. The continued opening of store branches is a direct form of employment creation. But that’s not the only good thing. Drip Footwear is on a mission to design school shoes that will be given back to less fortunate communities, through the Drip with Education drive. For every Drip Footwear sneaker purchased, a contribution will be channeled into designing a school shoe.
