Skynamo – How This Startup Will Solve Administrative Woes

Skynamo – How This Startup Will Solve Administrative Woes. Skynamo is a South African Field Sales platform that was founded in 2012 by Sam Clarke who also serves as its CEO, provides managers of companies with a real time view of field sales activities and dramatically reduces administrative tasks and paperwork.

Skynamo is largely used by manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of products with reps in the field, who visit, sell to and service customers on a regular basis. The key features of the company include GPS tracking technology, data analytics and integration with CRM, ERP and accounting packages.

The company will enable remote submission of orders, automation of administrative tasks and capturing of customer interactions on mobile devices. Managers will be able to manage their sales rep much easier through GPS tracking as it will show the time spent on the road and on customer visits for each rep.

According to its website Skynamo has over 6500 users at 600 manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution companies across a wide range of industries in Southern Africa, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the United States.

Skynamo has also managed to secure US $30 million investment from Five Elms Capital, for the acceleration in the adoption of its field sales mobile app and cloud based management platform, while scaling up operations to improve service to its rapidly growing customer base in the US, UK and Southern Africa.
