The HexGn Start-Up Ready Accelerator Program 2021 Opens Applications For Early Stage Entrepreneurs

The HexGn Start-Up Ready Accelerator Program 2021 Opens Applications For Early Stage Entrepreneurs. The HexGn Start-up Ready, Online Start-up Acceleration Program is for anyone in the early stages of building a company with global ambitions. People should enrol for the Start-up Ready program, if they have launched a start-up, they have an idea for a start-up, they are working on a product and want to turn it into a global business, or if they’re just curious about what it would take to throw in the 9 to 5 and start a scalable business.

Twice a week in the program, participating founders join a 2 hours “live online coaching session” and receive training, evaluation, and feedback. After each session, the founders then build their businesses for the rest of the week through a series of practical and challenging business building activities. The 3 month online start-up accelerator program, Start-up Ready comprises of 15 key modules to cover critical aspects of setting up a business.

For a onetime fee of US $2000 (R29 760), two members from a start-up can join the three months online start-up acceleration program. It has two classes of 1.5 hours every week. The program does not take any equity in participating entities, and entrepreneurs get access to live online sessions with its facilitators.

There are no pre recorded lectures, as entrepreneurs work with their program director to fine tune their start-up idea. It has a ‘Becoming Investment Ready’ 3 months virtual program with 24 live sessions, 2 mentoring sessions and 12 case studies. The program won’t just tell entrepreneurs what they want to hear but what they need to hear for the success of their business.

Start-up accelerators, also known as seed accelerators, are fixed-term, cohort-based programs, that include mentorship and educational components and culminate in a public pitch event or demo day. While traditional business incubators are often government-funded, generally take no equity, and rarely provide funding, accelerators can be either privately or publicly funded and cover a wide range of industries. Unlike business incubators, the application process for seed accelerators is open to anyone, but highly competitive. There are specific types of seed accelerators, such as corporate accelerators, which are often subsidiaries or programs of larger corporations that act like seed accelerator.

Interested entrepreneurs can apply for the program here.
