AmaBhengu Fashion is a subsidiary company under Amabhengu Group Pty Ltd, It was founded by Zamani Bhengu in 2016 with the purpose of building e-commerce site/marketplace that specialises in listing & retailing various quality goods (local & imported goods). It is working hard to keep its promises of giving its customers the best shopping online experience. The company aspires to become the biggest website that has the strongest & dedicated team behind as it is driven by the happiness of customers even its brand colours has powerful meaning.
The Mustard represents its obsession with customers as it does whatever it takes to make them happy (it has integrated live chats in order to make it possible to communicate with its customers 24/7). The Orange represents its journey in business. It is inspired by the humble beginnings of its founder as he started selling 6 watches on the Pietermaritzburg streets as door to door salesman, he went through many disappointments, struggles & rejections but he kept going.
Bhengu shared how his journey began in a tweet that read, “I started my entrepreneurial journey selling watches on the street, and I used to walk more than 5 kilometres as a door to door salesman. I remember walking from Pietermaritzburg CBD to Asmalls Hyper to deliver a watch and the next day I had to walk to Mayors Walk for sales meeting, on the way there I always pictured myself owning a watch brand and this year I just launched my own watch brand called AmaBhengu Fashion.”
“It was me, my watches, my drive and my customers. My customers chose me instead of big brands, that’s what motivated me to work hard to become a big brand too.” Bhengu added.
The company currently delivers door-to-door via courier to postcodes within South Africa. Deliveries are made to the address of the customer’s choice, whether it be business or residential address. However, the company does not deliver to PO BOX addresses & outside town addresses.
