Namola Is An App That Seeks To Provide Personal Safety Services. Namola is South Africa’s leading personal safety app that allows South Africans to keep themselves and their loved ones safe and connected and gets the best emergency assistance straight to the user’s location when needed. It has made the safety of people its core focus. Once the Namola app has been downloaded for free on a mobile phone, a number of safety features become available to keep someone and their loved ones safe.

Namola is available as a free app where users can request assistance from public emergency services, such as the South African Police Services (SAPS), Metro Police, Fire & Rescue, and Ambulance, as well as from community responders working through community safety initiatives. Namola now also offers Namola Plus, where its users still get the same Namola experience as always, but now with the added benefits of Armed Response and Private Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from just R49 per month.

The focus of Namola App is on personal safety for South Africans, which is now simpler and better than ever before, thanks to these key features such as: Location sharing – where people can easily see that their loved ones are safe in real-time. Smart Alerts – Notifies users when their loved one leaves from or arrives safely at a specific location. Safety News Feed – It allows users to see information about their ongoing and past incidents, and receive safety news and information which is relevant to their area.

Namola offers an optional standalone physical Panic Tracker with built-in GPS and SIM for the ultimate peace-of-mind — no phone needed. The Namola Panic Tracker comes in the form of a physical button people can keep in their pocket, wear around their neck, or put on their keychain and has all of the benefits of Namola Plus. When one presses the panic button, Namola will attempt to call back on the device itself to find out details of the incident. If it can’t get hold of the person, it will send Armed Response to check on them.
