Businesses Owned By Kabza De Small. Kabelo Petrus Motha better known by his stage name Kabza De Small is a South African DJ and record producer. He was born in Mpumalanga and raised in Pretoria. He has been referred to as the king of the Amapiano genre. Motha has collaborated extensively with record producer DJ Maphorisa. Motha began his career as a DJ in 2009, venturing in the genres: Afro-fused house and EDM. In 2016, he made his production credits by releasing his debut album, Avenue Sounds under the label, House Afrika Records. In November 2018, he gained attention by releasing songs, “Amabele Shaya” and “Umshove”, respectively, featuring guest vocals by the amapiano counterpart, Leehleza. Following both songs, he continued his collaboration with Leehleza as he released the song “Bamba La”, on 3 January 2019. Below are some of the businesses owned by Kabza De Small.

Kabza De Small is regarded as one of the musicians that were responsible for making the Amapiano sound very popular in South Africa. He ventured into opening a record label so that he can own his music and benefit from it in the form of royalties in the future. By doing this the DJ showed that he is very business minded and that he is thinking about the long term instead of instant gratification.

Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa announced that they will also be adding lovely merchandise for their Sun Arena concert. Both DJ’s shared an image of the souvenir Tees, hoodies, bucket hat and scarfs for the show. This was a way for the DJs to make extra income at the show outside of their music. Fans of the DJs would have supported them as they specifically were going to the show to see them perform.

King Of Amapiano Virtual Concert

Kabza De Small took to social media on Instagram to announce his solo virtual concert.  The concert featured vocalist Sha Sha as the supporting act. The concert was a King Of Amapiano virtual concert which will stream on social media. The DJ posted a promotional poster on his Instagram.
