How Puri Solutions A 100% Black Female Owned Start-Up Seeks To Improve Communities Through Solar Product. Puri Solutions is a 100% black female owned entity, which offers various high quality solar products for rural, residential and commercial businesses. Its services include supplying, installation, maintenance and after care of the products. Puri Solutions aims to eradicate the disruption of a basic need in our communities; ensure the safety and longevity of essential appliances in in its client’s household; and give customers freedom and peace of mind in their everyday lives.

The company is co-owned by Kelebogile Moloi, who is responsible for the strategic planning and business development of Puri Solutions. She holds a Certificate in Wholesale & Retail, National Diploma in Public Relations and currently studying towards a BA in Communication Science majoring in Community Development. Kelebogile has 7 years working experience having worked in the public relations space on sports campaigns before moving into the telecommunications industry where she has held junior positions in visual merchandising, event management, government relations and most recently project management of CSI programmes.

Puri Solutions is also co-owned by Marijoy Modimoeng, who is responsible for strategic planning, social media & content marketing of Puri Solutions. She holds a BBA in Marketing Management, a National diploma in Marketing and an Advanced Certificate in Project Management. For over 3 years, Marijoy has overseen the growth of a hair and beauty supplies company which had a turnover of only R10 000 per month and turned it into a successful company that generates a turnover of R350 000 per month. She has experience in the telecommunications industry having worked there for 2 years as a Marketing Specialist, specialising in segment-based ATL and BTL marketing initiatives.

Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, solar architecture, molten salt power plants and artificial photosynthesis. It is an essential source of renewable energy, and its technologies are broadly characterised as either passive solar or active solar depending on how they capture and distribute solar energy or convert it into solar power.
