2024 Supplier Development Programme Calls For Applications. Invitation to all entrepreneurs to apply for the 2024 THEBE Enterprise Development Programme (EDP) -sponsored by the THEBE Foundation Trust and the UJ/JBS Centre for Entrepreneurship. Due to limited space, there will be a shortlist of fully qualified candidates that will be interviewed and those who are successful will be chosen to partake in either of the programs.

Please consider the following important information:

  • Classes will be conducted virtually on Microsoft Teams.
  • Classes must be attended once a week.
  • Applicants must have access to a laptop/computer or mobile device as well as internet connection to attend classes.
  • Duration : 6 months.

HOW TO APPLY:

1. Complete this form.

2. Submit the following documents via email to [email protected] using Email subject, “Application: 2024 THEBE Enterprise Development Programme (EDP) – Informal Markets Programme – Applicant’s name”:

Certified copy of your ID.

Certified copy of your Matric certificate.

Company registration document (CIPC)

BEE Certificate / Affidavit

The application will be considered complete once both this form and email submissions have been made. The closing date is on the 18th of June 2024.

The Johannesburg Business School Centre for Entrepreneurship (JBSCE) under the Johannesburg Business School forms part of the University of Johannesburg. JBSCE provides integrated entrepreneurial development support, aimed at building the culture of entrepreneurship, developing start-ups and existing businesses for increased participation in the economy.

JBSCE is an incubation centre that provides entrepreneurship courses with a focus on the needs of Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) start-ups and existing businesses from economically disadvantaged communities. It has reimagined entrepreneurship development by harnessing technology to develop digitally empowered entrepreneurs: its short learning programmes are offered in a virtual incubation model and it offers online coaching and support, as well as online access to markets and financing opportunities.
