Dazzle Angels Is An Investment Company That Seeks To Cater To Female Owned Businesses

Dazzle Angels Is An Investment Company That Seeks To Cater To Female Owned Businesses. Dazzle Angels’ goal is to solve the radical gender inequality in early-stage investment management and deployment. It believes that 50% of early- stage funding should be managed by women, and invested into women owned or co-founded businesses.

Dazzle Angels is a female focused angel fund that is led and funded by experienced business women. Its angels not only invest their money, but also invest their time, skills and networks, which is where the real value lies. All of its angels are successful entrepreneurs or experts in their field, are passionate about building early-stage businesses, leveraging their skills and networks to help its Zebras build the next generation of female led businesses. The company seeks for great businesses – businesses that solve a real problem, have a business model and will be sustainable – and happen to be founded or co-founded by at least one women, because it knows (and stats show) that’s just better business. Its businesses seek equality and empowering women is an integral part of their culture and DNA.

It wants to be pioneers in the ways in which its future and economy can grow, by not only joining forces, but also in the way it encourages and uplift each other. It believes it can close the gender and diversity gap in entrepreneurship and venture funding. Its mission is to generate inclusive funding for early-stage, women led and women empowering businesses.

It hopes to have a vibrant community of female angel investors in South Africa. More female founded businesses that are being funded at early stage. It is looking for financial success; to improve society and to close the gender gap in the investment space. Ultimately It would like to see the women that it invests in, become investors in their own right.

Dazzle Angels only invests in for-profit, registered businesses. The company needs its businesses to have a clear financial model, be scalable and sustainable while having a positive social impact. It wants all of its businesses and entrepreneurs to be profitable and do well financially, as this will allow it to reinvest the profits into new start-ups and create new female angels from its entrepreneurs.
