He stated that he looks forward to engaging with entrepreneurs and business leaders, while exploring insights and strategies aimed at growth, scaling, and unlocking opportunities within the supplier ecosystem.

The Supplier Growth Expo forms part of CCBSA’s broader Supplier Development Programme. The initiative is designed to empower, train, and grow small Black-owned suppliers operating within the company’s value chain. According to CCBSA, the programme focuses on capacity building, improving competitiveness, and opening market access for small, medium, and micro enterprises across the country.

ProVerb brings extensive experience across entertainment, business, and leadership development. He hails from Kimberley in the Northern Cape and first gained national recognition through his involvement in music and broadcasting. After completing a diploma in Sound Engineering, he joined Yfm in 2003 as a technical producer for DJ Fresh before moving into television presenting on Channel O, where he hosted the hip-hop segment Head-Rush.

Over the years, ProVerb has expanded his professional footprint beyond media. He currently works as a speaker, master of ceremonies, and businessman, with interests that extend outside the entertainment sector. His business portfolio includes serving as a non-executive director for a travel and tourism company, as well as co-owning SIC Entertainment, a television production company responsible for producing shows such as South African Idols, the Miss South Africa pageants, and Wedding Bashers.

In addition, ProVerb has pursued formal training in property development, completing a certificate in Property Development and Investment through the University of Cape Town. He now manages a property portfolio across Johannesburg, Ballito, and Cape Town.
