Kfm Best of the Cape 2026 Celebrates Western Cape’s Top Local Businesses. The Western Cape’s favourite businesses, destinations and experiences have been recognised through the 2026 Kfm Best of the Cape awards, with this year’s edition recording more than 18,000 nominations and over 440,000 votes.

The annual awards, powered by Yoco, were announced live on Kfm 94.5 on Friday, with every winner receiving a bespoke Best of the Cape trophy for the first time.

The results highlighted businesses across the province, with several established names retaining their positions while new categories and winners were introduced.

The Farm Eatery at Diemersdal in Durbanville was named Best Date Night Restaurant, with Beluga at the V&A Waterfront receiving the silver award. The Meeting Place in Stellenbosch reclaimed the Best Breakfast Spot title.

Bootlegger Coffee retained the Best Coffee award, extending its record as the only winner to have held the title for six consecutive years since the awards began.

Ashley’s Family Restaurant in Goodwood also continued its winning run, securing its fifth consecutive Best Family Restaurant title.

Ceres Rail Company was named Best Adventure Experience, while the newly introduced Best Place to be Seen category was won by Galileo Open Air Cinema.

Kagga Kamma Eco Lodge and Spa in the Cederberg took the Best Weekend Stay award.

The Station’s Choice Award went to Tulbagh Boutique Heritage Hotel for its social media campaigns featuring staff and their stories. The hotel also won Best Hotel.

Le Pickle in De Waterkant received the Yoco Choice Award, with Yoco co-founder Carl Wazen highlighting the business’s entrepreneurial spirit.

Kfm station manager Hennie Myburgh said the record number of nominations and votes demonstrated the level of community interest in recognising local businesses and personalities.

Wazen congratulated the winners, describing them as entrepreneurs who had built businesses that became part of their communities.

The 2026 awards also included silver and bronze recognition for runners-up, while nominees received promotional material to support their participation.
