MAK Plastics Takes Top Sapro Award for Turning Recycled Plastic Into New Products. MAK Plastics has received the top award at the 12th annual South African Plastics Recycling Organisation (Sapro) Awards for the Best Recycled Plastic Products.

The recycler was named Best Recycled Plastic Product of the Year at an event held at Spyced Restaurant at the V&A Waterfront, where companies across the plastics value chain were recognised for developing products using recycled material.

MAK Plastics also secured Gold in the Household & Leisure category for its BOPP Wash Basin. The company received two Silver awards for the BOPP Storage Box in the Household & Leisure category and its Corrugated PP Sheet in the Construction & Building Sector.
