Sorted Seeks To Make The License Renewal Process Easy For Motorists. Whether it is the government’s incompetence, shortage of employees or having incompetent employees, the license renewal process can be a daunting task as one would have to stand in the queue for hours before getting assistance. It was inevitable that people would be frustrated of this process as they would have to take time off work just to renew their license disks. Digital entrepreneurs are creating software that will make certain process much easier and the license renewal process is no different as the company Sorted provides this service for all South Africans needing to renew their license in an effortless manner.

Sorted was founded in 2017 by Daniela Morris and Loyiso Bikitsha. They were inspired to digitise the tedious, manual licensing process after experiencing the frustration of dealing with these outdated systems themselves. The company offers solutions for individuals, dealerships and fleets to manage their systems online nationwide.

Sorted is a company that simplifies vehicle compliance, by automating license renewals, fines management and other road-related admin. Whether you own one car, run a dealership or have an entire vehicle fleet to manage, Sorted is the service for you. All it takes is just a few clicks to renew your vehicles’ licenses and the company will get the rest of it sorted. Clients can keep track of each vehicle and renewal in real time and access its complete renewal history. The company seeks to make the license renewal process as seamless as possible to its clients.

If the client has fines they have to pay, they can still get a new license disk. The only time that they will be prevented to renew their license is when their fines are so overdue that they have turned into enforcements orders or warrants of arrest, which then must be settled. If the license disk is already expired, there will be a penalty added each month it is overdue, which is 10% of the total price of the disk. There is a 21 day grace period from the time that the disk has expired till the penalties take effect.

From the time payment is received, clients can expect to get their disk in about 2-7 working days, as the speediness is a top priority for the company.
