The South African Film And Television Awards (SAFTA) announced on their Twitter account that they partnered with Boity’s BT Signature beverage company as their official alcohol partner for the 2021 SAFTAs. The legendary Dr. Ncina Mhlophe was honoured with the Lifetime achievement golden horn. Dr. Ncina is an anti-apartheid activist, actress, storyteller, poet, playwright, director, and author. She received a doctorate honorary from the Open University, the UK in 1994, another honorary doctorate from the University of Natal in 1999, and Rhodes University in 2014.
