The announcement said that the brand’s customers can now shop their collection at Neyborly in Sandton City. The brand was founded by Nicole Ncube, a 22 year old young lady from Soweto with big dreams of redefining luxury streetwear to South Africa and the world. Being part of the fashion industry has always been a passion of hers as she knew she belonged there, be it fashion modelling or designing. “I just knew I had to be part of the fashion industry, but I didn’t know how to go about with it. I tried applying to modelling agencies and got rejected a couple of times. My rejection led me to starting my own clothing line Ascend that I can model for and this is where my journey begins.” she said on the company’s website.
