Drip Footwear Announces Its Partnership With Sekhukhune United Football Club. South African entrepreneur and founder of Drip Footwear Lekau Sehoana took to Twitter to announce that the company is now the official sponsor of Sekhukhune United Football Club.

The post read, “Cat’s out the Bag, @DRIPFootWear is an Official Sponsor of Sekhukhune United. DiNoko le DiKolobe.” Sekhukhune United F.C. is a South African soccer club from Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni (Gauteng) that plays in the DStv Premiership. The club was founded in 2020 by brothers Hlabisi Simon Malatji and Jonas Narekeng Malatji who left their hometown of Sekhukhune, Limpopo, for greener pastures.

Drip Footwear is a company that likes to involve itself in as many collaborations as possible as this increases its brand awareness and brand value. The company has announced its latest partnership, which will see the company sponsoring the Sekhukhune Football Club, that rose to South Africa’s top football league. Since it’s launch un 2020, the football club has been rising and growing at a rapid pace as it won the 2020/2021 National First Division league and then it got promoted to the PSL, which has given it a lot of exposure to different kinds of opportunities that will enable the club to grow even further. One of the opportunities is the opportunity to partner with a footwear brand that shares a similar story in that it also experienced a rapid rise in success and growth.

Sehoana is determined to make sure that the company involves itself in a lot of partnerships to show that with collaboration there are a lot more things that can be accomplished as parties will be working together in order to achieve their desired goals. This sponsorship will help the club as it will also be easing the some of the financial burden on the club.
