The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) has officially announced the Start-Up 20 (SU20) Summit, a major gathering aimed at empowering entrepreneurs, fostering innovation, and driving small business growth in South Africa. The event will take place from 13 to 15 November 2025 at the Gallagher Estate Convention Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg.
The three-day summit will serve as a powerful platform for start-ups, innovators, and industry leaders to connect, share insights, and explore collaboration opportunities. With over 500 delegates expected, the SU20 Summit underscores South Africa’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship as a key pillar of inclusive economic development.
According to the department, the summit will feature keynote presentations from leading entrepreneurs and industry experts, interactive workshops focused on start-up growth and innovation, and exhibition booths showcasing cutting-edge products and services developed by local start-ups.
