Organised by Provoke Media, the awards recognise achievement across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on digital, social media, analytics and content-driven campaigns. The IN2 SABRE Awards, short for “Insight and Innovation,” celebrate work that demonstrates creative approaches to brand engagement and reputation management.

Among the standout performers was Ogilvy South Africa, which claimed three category wins along with two Certificates of Excellence. Clockwork also delivered a strong performance, winning two categories and earning additional recognition through certificates tied to its campaigns.

Other agencies contributing to the overall tally included Razor PR, which secured two Certificates of Excellence, and Retroviral, which earned three Certificates for its work across multiple campaigns. Irvine Partners added two Certificates, further strengthening the country’s representation at the event.

Corporate brands were also recognised through collaborative campaigns with agencies. KFC Africa received a Certificate of Excellence for its mentorship-focused initiative, while other campaigns involving major brands were acknowledged across multiple categories.

Winning campaigns from South Africa spanned a wide range of categories, including social media and community management, video and streaming innovation, content marketing, and purpose-driven partnerships. These campaigns reflected a mix of creative storytelling, data-driven insights and technology-led execution.

In addition to the five category wins, South African agencies secured 12 Certificates of Excellence across areas such as earned media, paid and owned media, data analytics and platform development. This recognition underscores the diversity of work produced by local agencies and their ability to compete in a global environment.

The results reinforce South Africa’s position within the broader communications industry, particularly in areas where digital innovation and strategic storytelling intersect. With continued participation in international competitions, local agencies are increasingly showcasing their capabilities beyond the domestic market.
