Businesses Owned By JR. Tabure Thabo Bogopa Junior professionally known as JR is a South African musician. He frequently performs Motswako rap, in both Setswana and English. On 28 April 2008, JR released his first studio album under Electromode Music, The Main Event. The single “Gata Le Nna”, produced by 37 mph and featuring Towdee was number 1 on both YFM and Metro FM for over six weeks. The single was award for “Song of The Year, Hip Hop” at the Hype Awards in 2008. The album was nominated in the “Best Hip Hop Album” in 2008 at the Metro FM Awards, also received a nomination nod at the 2009 South African Music Awards for “Best Hip Hop Album”. JR is also a savvy businessman with several business ventures under his name, below are some of the businesses that are owned by JR.

Feel Good Music

Feel Good Music is an Entertainment Solutions Company that specialises in tailor made music services. Founded in 2009 FGM was originally a record company priding itself in the discovery and development of artists. In 2012 Founder JR Bogopa changed the company into what it is right now because of the ever changing climate of the music industry. Feel Good Music has now become a thought leader as in the African music landscape, the company prides itself in helping brand and companies with music led strategies, while building communities that consume even the smallest amounts of music.

Feel Good Live Sessions

In April 2017, hip-hop artist and producer JR launched the first season of his YouTube series Feel Good Live Sessions where he brought renowned artists like Kwesta, Moneoa and Shekinah to perform acoustic versions of their best hits. With the series having received a number of good reviews on social media and currently sitting at 100 thousand subscribers, JR announced that the second season of the show would air on MTV Base.

It has partnered with Proudly SA to deliver a new TV commercial titled ‘Game Time’.
