Skinny Sbu Socks Founder Sibusiso Ngwenya Announces New Partnership With The Grammy Awards. Founder of Skinny Sbu Socks Sibusiso Ngwenya took to Twitter to announce that his company has secured a partnership with the 64th Grammy Awards as its official sock partner. Ngwenya added that he will be revealing more details about the partnership at a media briefing which will take place mid January 2022.

The post read, “Super proud to be joining @RealBlackCoffee & @Trevornoah in representing South Africa at The 64th Grammy Awards as The Official Sock Partner. FULL details on the partnership to be revealed at our media event mid January 2022.”

This partnership is set to represent a lot of local entrepreneurs that seek to break into the international market, and show people all over the world what South African entrepreneurs can offer. The Grammy Awards is one of the most prestigious award ceremonies in the world and for the Skinny Sbu Socks brand to be able to secure a partnership with them gives hope and inspiration to young entrepreneurs to dream big and to work relentlessly towards their goals.

By associating itself with the Grammy Awards, the Skinny Sbu Socks brand aims to position itself in the international market and for them to compete against some of the biggest brands in the world. “We are very excited about this partnership – This has been a very long and expensive exercise, considering the effects of the pandemic on our business. We would like to invite potential sponsors to jump on board so that we can fulfil our administrative obligations with the Recording Academy.” Sandile Mbelekwane Head of Finance for Skinny Sbu Socks said on the company’s website.

Skinny Sbu joins people like Trevor Noah and Black Coffee in representing South Africa at the 64th Grammy Awards. Trevor Noah is set to host the awards for the second time and Black Coffee is nominated for the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his latest album titled ‘Subconsciously’.
