Dipula Properties Secures Inclusion in Key JSE Indices

Dipula Properties Secures Inclusion in Key JSE Indices. Dipula Properties (JSE: DIB) will be included in the FTSE/JSE All Property Index (ALPI) and the SA REIT Index, effective Monday, 23 March 2026, following the latest index review by the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

This development marks a significant milestone for Dipula, positioning the company more prominently within South Africa’s listed property markets. The inclusion strengthens its role in a sector that continues to diversify in terms of counters and management teams.

Index inclusion opens the door to a broader and more diversified pool of capital for Dipula, while also increasing the potential for expanded sell-side analyst coverage. It enhances visibility among investors and ensures that Dipula falls within index-linked asset manager benchmarks for listed property, general equities, and balanced funds. The move may further improve the overall liquidity and tradability of Dipula shares.

Commenting on the announcement, Izak Petersen, CEO of Dipula Properties, said: “Inclusion in these indices places Dipula firmly within the institutional investment landscape. We see this as an opportunity to deepen engagement with a broader investor base while continuing to execute on our strategy.”

Dipula is a South Africa-focused Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that has been delivering long-term value to stakeholders for more than 20 years, with nearly 15 of those years as a listed entity. The company generates approximately 70% of its income from retail properties, defensively positioned with retail centres in townships, rural areas, and urban convenience locations.

Its portfolio spans across South Africa, with a strong concentration in Gauteng, the country’s economic hub. By maintaining a diversified and strategically located portfolio, Dipula continues to demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a competitive property market.

The inclusion in the ALPI and SA REIT Index underscores Dipula’s progress and reflects investor confidence in its strategy and performance. It also highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable growth and its role in shaping the future of South Africa’s property investment landscape.
