Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams Bring Ice Impérial Collaboration to South Africa

Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams Bring Ice Impérial Collaboration to South Africa. Moët & Chandon has announced the South African arrival of Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial by Pharrell Williams, extending a creative collaboration that celebrates shared experiences, connection, and the art of celebration.
The latest release follows the unveiling of the collaboration in Paris before making its way to Saint-Tropez, the destination that originally inspired the creation of Ice Impérial. The collection is now set to reach South African consumers ahead of the 2026 Durban July, one of the country’s most prominent lifestyle and fashion events.
The partnership between Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams began in 2025 when the internationally recognised artist and entrepreneur worked with the champagne house to reimagine birthday celebrations through a refreshed collection of its signature cuvées.
Building on that collaboration, the collection expands in 2026 with the introduction of Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial by Pharrell Williams.
According to the company, the new edition presents Ice Impérial in a redesigned format. For the first time, the bottle is showcased without its traditional white sleeve, placing greater emphasis on the bottle itself and the experience surrounding it.
Williams said the collaboration continues to focus on simplicity and meaningful shared experiences.

“I keep coming back to simplicity. Strip it back to what matters. The bottle is simpler. The message is simpler. It’s about summer, community, and enjoying champagne your way, so the experience comes first,” he said.
The origins of Ice Impérial date back more than 15 years to Saint-Tropez, where Moët & Chandon observed consumers enjoying champagne over ice during summer celebrations. The trend inspired the Maison to create a champagne specifically designed to be served on ice.
Moët & Chandon describes Ice Impérial as a blend dominated by Pinot Noir and Meunier, complemented by Chardonnay. The champagne is characterised by fruity flavours, tropical notes, a rounded palate and a refreshing finish.
The company recommends serving the champagne in a large wine glass with three ice cubes, a serving style that remains central to the Ice Impérial experience.

The latest release forms part of an ongoing collaboration between Moët & Chandon and Pharrell Williams, centred on creativity, human connection and shared moments.
Moët & Chandon confirmed that both Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial by Pharrell Williams and Moët & Chandon Impérial by Pharrell Williams will be available at selected retailers across South Africa from June 2026.
