Nedbank Teams Up with DHL and Adbot to Help South African SMEs Reach Global Markets
Nedbank Teams Up with DHL and Adbot to Help South African SMEs Reach Global Markets. Nedbank has partnered with logistics company DHL and digital marketing platform Adbot to help South African small and medium enterprises (SMEs) improve their online visibility, attract customers and access international markets.
The partnerships were announced at the bank’s SME Day in Sandton on 29 October 2026 and will provide qualifying Nedbank SME clients with discounted digital advertising services and free export-readiness training.
Through its agreement with Adbot, qualifying businesses will receive discounted access to the South African AI-powered marketing platform, which helps companies manage online advertising campaigns and improve their digital visibility.
The partnership with DHL will give SMEs access to its global GoTrade programme, a free initiative that provides export education, practical training and logistics expertise to businesses seeking opportunities in international markets.
The programme combines DHL’s international trade and logistics experience with Nedbank’s banking, foreign exchange, payments and funding services to support businesses looking to expand beyond South Africa.
In addition to the partnerships, Nedbank announced changes to its SME banking offering, including twice-daily settlements throughout the year for qualifying businesses using iKhokha payment devices.
The settlement changes are intended to give businesses faster access to money generated through card transactions, helping them manage cash flow and working capital requirements.
The bank has also expanded access to pre-approved funding through behavioural credit scoring. This approach uses business behaviour to assess qualifying clients for finance, with the aim of speeding up funding decisions and reducing administrative paperwork.
Daniel Kaan, managing executive for SME at Nedbank, said business owners were increasingly seeking support beyond traditional financial services, particularly in customer acquisition and accessing new markets.
The bank said the partnerships form part of its broader strategy to support SMEs by combining financial services with business development opportunities and access to external expertise.
Through the arrangements with DHL and Adbot, Nedbank is extending its SME offering into digital marketing and international trade support, while its banking changes focus on improving access to funds and business financing.
