Afrobeats DJ Spoken Priestess Reflects On Her Collaboration With Foschini. Afrobeats DJ Spoken Priestess took time to reflect on her collaboration with Foschini that created the ‘#RotationSheMix’ t-shirts. She shared that the partnership managed to raise R85 000 for the women and children of FridaHartleyshe.

The post read, “I’m pleased to announce that we’ve raised R85 000 for the women & children of @FridaHartleyshe through the #FOSCHINIXSPOKENPRIESTESS collab which saw us drop #ROTATIONSHEMIX T-shirts earlier this year Thank YOU so much for your support with this, look at what we did please!”

Spoken Priestess announced her collaboration with Foschini earlier this year, she is using her influence and platform to make sure that she gives back to the community. Spoken Priestess is someone that saw entrepreneurship as something that could provide the money she needed in order to donate to FridaHartleyshe. This part of innovative thinking where a partnership has created something that will have a positive impact on society.

RotationSheMix is a pan African collaboration with women from different walks of life across the continent. This collaboration was also aimed at empowering women to make things happen in their careers and respective lives. Spokenpriestess is a South African born afrobeats DJ with an infectious passion for everything African, especially travel, fashion and culture. Dubbed the “African Powerpuff Girl” she’s on a quest to discover more about the continent through circular music and she’s bringing everyone along on this colourful journey.

Collaborations that make a significant impact in people’s lives are needed more as this shows that through working together people can achieve more and actually give meaningful help that will make a change in a person’s life. This also shows how entrepreneurship can be used to raise funds in order to achieve a certain goal or mission, this way entrepreneurship can be seen as a tool to solve some of the social issues facing communities.
