Khipu Networks Announces Official Opening Of New Office In Cape Town

Khipu Networks Announces Official Opening Of New Office In Cape Town. KHIPU Networks, the cyber security company, announced the official opening of a new office in Cape Town, which will facilitate KHIPU in delivering networking, cyber security solutions and managed services across the Western Cape.

“The decision to expand to the Western Cape and open a new office in Cape Town was influenced by our remarkable growth and success of our network and security operations centres (NOC and SOC) that are providing a wide range of solutions and services to customers throughout South Africa across all market sectors. KHIPU Networks will now establish even more close ties with its customers in the Western Cape and is better positioned to introduce our service offerings, our vision and mission of helping the Western Cape with 24x7x365 monitoring, response, containment and threat hunting services,” says Matt Ashman, Chief Commercial Officer and Co-Founder of KHIPU Networks.

Although KHIPU Networks was founded and is originally a UK-based company, its growth in South Africa since its original investment in 2012 has been exceptional. The company has invested heavily in the enhancement and development of local cyber security skills and the team has become one of the leading players within the South African market.

“Since the launch of our SOC in 2019, it has proven very successful with customers. Not only demonstrating increased cyber threat protection and return on investment through our capabilities, our continued focus on ransomware prevention, detection, response and recovery is helping organisations combat threats that are continually causing havoc in today’s hybrid working environment,” says Hannes Kriel, Technical Manager South Africa at KHIPU Networks.

“We are excited about this move and looking forward to this expansion as many of our customers and partners, including Palo Alto Networks, HPE Aruba, Google Chronicle, Infoblox and Proofpoint, have been asking us for many years to extend the teams to Cape Town and provide more localised support in this region. Demand is at an all-time high for trusted suppliers who can provide reliable, secure and cost-effective solutions with managed services,” concludes Ashman.
