Inspirational Entrepreneur and STEM Expert, Aisha Bowe, visits South Africa

“Outdream yourself daily.” That’s the motto that Aisha Bowe lives by, and these words have helped to catapult her in a direction that years ago seemed unavailable.  Bowe is an aerospace engineer, and co-founder and CEO of STEMBoard, a multi-million dollar company in the United States.  Aisha is visiting South Africa for a series of programs from 7-18 October 2019, funded by the U.S. Embassy to share her story with South Africans.  She will visit Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, and Pretoria, engaging students, entrepreneurs and STEM academics.

Her company, STEMBoard, specialises in engineering and development, IT services, program and project management, data management, ingestion, and analytics.  At STEMBoard, Bowe leads a workforce of engineers and programmers in addition to managing client relationships and the execution of multi-million dollar contracts with federal government and corporate clients.  Previously, Bowe was an aerospace engineer at the NASA Ames Research Centre where she focused on miniaturised satellites and aircraft trajectory optimisation.
